Itinerary

This special private tour service will have a duration of 5 days total, covering some of the most fascinating medieval towns and villages in Portugal. From the Roman legacy of Évora to the hilltop castles of Monsaraz, Belmonte, and Monsanto, and finally the grandeur of Tomar’s Convent of Christ, this itinerary offers a perfect balance of history, culture, and authentic local experiences. All services are flexible and can be tailored to your personal pace and interests.

• DAY 1 – Private Transfer from Lisbon to Évora – Explore the old town, castle walls, and Roman ruins. Optional evening stargazing session.

Your journey begins with a private transfer from Lisbon to the enchanting town of Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The journey continues toward Monsaraz, one of Portugal’s most picturesque medieval villages, with its castle overlooking the Alqueva Lake. Continue the day with visits to surrounding medieval villages such as Sortelha, each offering authentic charm, quiet beauty, and stories from another era. • DAY 5 – Private transfer from Belmonte to Lisbon, with a stop in Tomar to visit the medieval old town and the Convent of Christ (UNESCO Heritage Site).
