📍 Day 1 – Welcome to Lisbon: Sweet Beginnings

  • Arrival & private transfer to your family-friendly hotel in Lisbon (we recommend Martinhal Chiado or a central boutique stay)

  • Light walk through Baixa and Chiado with stops for:

    • Your first pastel de nata (custard tart) at Manteigaria or Pastéis de Belém

    • A visit to A Vida Portuguesa for traditional sweets and gifts

  • Optional sunset dinner at a rooftop restaurant with Portuguese tapas-style sharing plates

📍 Day 2 – Market Day & Cooking Class

  • Morning visit to Mercado da Ribeira (Time Out Market)—great for kids to pick out their own snacks

  • Private family-friendly cooking class: Learn how to make pastéis de nata, codfish cakes (bolinhos de bacalhau), and caldo verde (green soup)

  • Afternoon tram ride or river cruise to relax

  • Casual dinner in the Alfama district, with live Fado music if your kids can stay up a little later

📍 Day 3 – Sintra Delights & Chocolate Magic

  • Private day trip to Sintra, including:

    • Pena Palace visit

    • A stop at Piriquita Bakery for travesseiros (almond puff pastries)

  • Return to Lisbon for the evening
