Itinerary

This full-day trip to Coimbra will take you to one of the most important cities of Portugal: After Lisbon and Porto, Coimbra is considered the third most popular city of Portugal. Been the capital of Portugal for two centuries, and it’s known to host the famous University and Library of Coimbra. Although the itinerary can be adjusted during the day, this is the standard/suggested itinerary:

• Departure from Lisbon Region around 9AM (Flexible)
• Arrive at Coimbra around 11AM
• Explore the University area. Optional visit to the Library
• Head to the Old Town. Admire the views to the River Mondego.
• Stop for lunch (1h – meal not included)
• Visit the Old Town, including the Santa Cruz church and the Old Catedral.
• Learn bout the Fado music in Coimbra.
• Stop by Quinta das Lagrimas, before heading back to Lisbon
• Finish the private tour around 5PM back in Lisbon

During the day we will pass by different attractions and stop for pictures.
